This advert was pulled from a free British newspaper called The Metro, it is predominantly given away on public transport meaning people from all walks of life are likely to see any news, sport, ads etc in there. Over recent weeks The Metro has been pushing MECASINO every day on the hunt for new members, and of the offers I seem to catch my eye on on a regular basis is the Monopoly game they have. In this advert we see the world famous Monopoly logo towards the top and at the bottom we see the house, the hotel and old gentleman from the logo, this gives the reader the assurance that this is a genuine game about Monopoly, also there is a Hasbro disclaimer in there who are the Monopoly makers. One of the most famous parts of the board game is “passing go” where you get a some money every time you go round, they have used this to offer new members some free money, “pass go and get £150 free”. Not only does this relate to the game but it also grabs your attention as you want to know how to get this money! At the bottom of the advert is the web address which is important as this is what you need to visit to sign up and take advantage of the fabulous offers they have.
